GMC ADAS Calibration Built for Work, Tow, and Off-Road
From Sierra HD with Super Cruise to Hummer EV with CrabWalk, ADC calibrates every GMC sensor to factory specification at our Springfield, IL facility — using the same scan tool the GMC dealer uses.
Sierra 1500, Sierra HD, and Canyon carry the heaviest tow ratings and the most demanding sensor packages GMC builds. ADC follows the truck-specific procedures for forward camera, grille radar, corner radar, and trailering sensor calibration on every Professional Grade build.
Denali Ultimate sensor suite
Denali and Denali Ultimate trims add HD Surround Vision, the Rear Camera Mirror, Night Vision on select models, and the full Super Cruise hardware stack. We have the correct factory-approved targets and licensed scan tools for every Denali sensor.
Super Cruise capability
Sierra 1500, Sierra HD, Yukon, and Hummer EV can all be optioned with hands-free Super Cruise, including trailering support. We complete the dedicated radar, camera, and trailering-camera work Super Cruise needs before the system will accept the calibration.
Hummer EV CrabWalk geometry
Hummer EV Pickup and SUV use four-wheel steering with CrabWalk and an Ultium battery pack heavy enough to change ride height under load. Calibrating the front camera, the UltraVision surround cameras, and the rear radar requires correct curb-weight setup and rear-axle centering before any target work begins.
Why GMC owners and shops choose ADC
GMC is built on a Professional Grade promise: the trucks and SUVs that wear the red emblem are expected to tow heavier, haul longer, and work harder than anything else in the GM lineup. That promise extends to the driver-assist systems bolted to every modern Sierra, Yukon, Acadia, Canyon, Hummer EV, and Denali. When a windshield gets replaced, a bumper gets straightened, a suspension gets lifted, or a ride-height sensor gets disturbed, those modules have to be recalibrated to factory specification before the vehicle is safe to leave the shop. ADC is the independent calibration facility serving central Illinois owners, body shops, and dealers who need GMC work returned right the first time. We operate from a climate-controlled, level-floor bay in Springfield with the factory-approved targets, scan tools, and software subscriptions required to bring every Sierra, Yukon, Acadia, Canyon, Hummer, and Denali back into spec.
GMC's premium-truck story
GMC has spent the last two decades positioning itself as the premium-truck arm of General Motors — sharing platforms with Chevrolet but layering on richer interiors, distinct front-end styling, and Denali trim packaging that competes directly with Ram Limited and Ford Platinum. Every Sierra, Yukon, Acadia, and Canyon is engineered around that promise, and the driver-assist hardware on those vehicles reflects it. HD Surround Vision, the Rear Camera Mirror, head-up display, and the full Super Cruise hardware stack are standard on Denali Ultimate trims.
GMC's signature MultiPro tailgate, paired with the bed-view, hitch-view, side-trailer, and transparent-trailer cameras of the ProGrade Trailering package, turns the rear of every Sierra into a sensor cluster of its own. Any tailgate, bumper, or hitch service disturbs the aim on those cameras, and the side-trailer and rear-trailer cameras each have their own setup procedure before they will stitch correctly into the surround view you see on the screen — and into the Trailering App. ADC follows each of those factory procedures rather than relying on a generic reset.
Electrification has reshaped the lineup with the Hummer EV Pickup, Hummer EV SUV, and the new Sierra EV Denali. Ultium-based GMCs add four-wheel steering, CrabWalk, adaptive air suspension, and UltraVision camera arrays on top of the conventional forward camera and radar stack. ADC's bay, scan-tool subscriptions, and target library are sized for those vehicles, so EV calibrations are not handed off or refused.

Our GMC calibration process
Every GMC calibration starts with a VIN decode and a pull of the model-year-specific factory documentation, so every required sensor, target, and ride-height setting is confirmed before the vehicle rolls into the bay. We complete a full diagnostic scan, record every trouble code, and verify curb weight, fuel level, tire pressure, and four-corner ride height before any target work begins.
In-bay calibrations are performed on our level floor in a climate-controlled bay with factory-approved targets, marked centerlines, and verified wheel-alignment geometry. Hummer EV vehicles get rear-axle steering centering and ride-height verification before any UltraVision or front-camera target setup. If your GMC needs a module software update before the calibration will accept, we run the same scan tool the GMC dealer uses and complete that update on-site under an active GM subscription.
On-road drive cycles are completed on validated routes when the procedure calls for them, and the vehicle returns to the bay for a second diagnostic scan, trouble-code review, and a functional check of every driver-assist feature. You leave with factory-formatted before-and-after scan reports and a calibration certificate documenting every procedure performed — and your warranty stays intact under federal law.

Other GM brands we calibrate.
We calibrate the GMC family alongside its corporate siblings — same bay, same OEM-correct procedures.
Stored fault codes, prior damage, or a sensor that has lost its zero point can all block a calibration from completing. Our brand-correct diagnostic process for GMC catches that before the targets are even placed.
Questions about GMC GMC Pro Safety Plus & Super Cruise.
Do you calibrate Super Cruise on Sierra HD trucks pulling a trailer?
Yes. Sierra 2500 and 3500 HD with Super Cruise trailering need the dedicated rear-radar and trailering-camera procedures, and we complete them on-site with the trailer-camera harness configured per your VIN.
Can ADC calibrate Hummer EV Pickup and SUV?
Yes. Our Springfield bay, scan-tool subscriptions, and target library cover the UltraVision camera array, rear-axle steering centering, and CrabWalk geometry that Hummer EV Pickup and Hummer EV SUV calibration requires.
Do GMC calibrations need software updates before they will complete?
Many of them do. Current Sierra, Yukon, Acadia, Canyon, Hummer EV, and Denali calibrations frequently require a module software update before the calibration will accept. We run the same scan tool the GMC dealer uses and complete those updates in-house under an active GM subscription.
Does ADC handle the ProGrade trailering cameras after a tailgate or bumper repair?
Yes. Bed-view, hitch-view, side-trailer, and transparent-trailer cameras each have their own factory aiming and setup procedures. We perform them after any tailgate, bumper, hitch, or trailer-camera-harness service so the Trailering App shows the correct view.
How does an aftermarket lift or leveling kit on a Sierra or Canyon affect calibration?
Any change to ride height changes the forward camera's angle and the radar's aim. We measure your truck as it actually sits, verify centerline, and recalibrate to the lifted geometry — not the factory ride height — when a lift or leveling kit is installed.
Can a body shop or dealer drop off a GMC for calibration?
Yes. Body shops, dealerships, and fleet operators across central Illinois drop off Sierra, Yukon, Acadia, Canyon, Hummer EV, and Denali vehicles for calibration at our Springfield facility. Same-week scheduling is typical.
What documentation do I get after a GMC calibration?
Every job ships with factory-formatted before-and-after diagnostic reports, a calibration certificate listing every procedure performed, and any required road-test notes for on-road learn cycles. The package gives your insurer and your shop the documentation they need to close out the file.
